About York Associates

Founded in 1980, York Associates offers a range of high-quality and flexible training and consulting services to its wide range of clients across Europe. We aim to develop people for their international careers by improving performance in five key areas: language, communication, intercultural, interpersonal dynamics and leadership

York Associates delivers training both in the UK and abroad. At our centre in York, our main activity is intensive Professional language and communication courses. Our programmes abroad focus on International leadership and team development.

We publish a range of titles - books, CD ROMs, DVDs and audio material - designed to help people working internationally to develop their professional language and communication skills. We also publish materials and run workshops for trainers working in the field of international communication.

We have a core team of four directors who are responsible for maintaining quality and developing new initiatives in training and development. We are supported by a number of associate trainers, specialised in language, communication, intercultural and management development. Our activities are administered by a strong local team who ensure a fast and responsive service.

Our UK-based training is run in York, a beautiful historical city situated in the north of England. You will find us at Peasholme House, a wonderful Georgian building in the heart of the medieval city, which we have turned into a comfortable and well-equipped training centre.
