Nick is originally from Manchester. After a first degree in law, a post-graduate teacher training qualification in TEFL and an MA in Applied Linguistics, his career has included language teaching and teacher training in Germany, Czechoslovakia, Sweden, Poland and Spain.
He joined York Associates in 1987, where he specialises in professional language and communication training. In particular, he has developed a range of legal English courses for corporate lawyers and legal counsel. In addition he looks after clients in Switzerland, Poland, Hungary and Russia. He also co-ordinates in-service Teacher Training programmes.
Nick is a regular contributor to international conferences, particularly in the field of Business English, and is the author of more than 30 titles (both in book and electronic form) in Business English, Technical English and Legal English.
