This programme will enable you to:
- develop your intercultural competence
- improve your ability to recruit, appraise and provide feedback to personnel in English
- build international teams
- resolve international conflicts more effectively in English
Who should attend?
This seminar is aimed both at managers who wish to practise and develop their ability to manage people internationally in English and human resources managers with international responsibilities. English at CEF B2 level is required to attend this programme. Any client in doubt should arrange a pre-course telephone interview to assess present level.
Programme
Programmes will be customised to individual requirements with the following as the core content:
Day 1
Intercultural competence 1: key dimensions and attitudes
Intercultural competence 2: assessing and developing competence
Team development: understanding yourself and your team
Recruitment: approaches and key skills
Day 2
Staff assessment and appraisal
Providing feedback
Conflict resolution 1: key dimensions and attitudes
Conflict resolution 2: developing key skills
Day 3
Developing high performance teams
Communicating and achieving objectives in international teams
Profiling one's own intercultural communicative competence - developing a personal action plan
The working day is from 09.00 to 17.00, Monday to Friday.
