Team Management Profile
York Associates uses the Team Management profile to support its international development of individuals and teams. The profile, which is based on extensive and ongoing research into what makes high performing teams, offers a unique view on the way in which people work to achieve results. At the heart of the system is a rigorously validated questionnaire which provides a 4,000 word personalised report.

The Margerison-McCann Team Management Wheel

The profile allows individuals and teams to map their working tasks, a powerful way of identifying strengths and areas for development. The tool also allows individuals to identify their preferred role in teams as a way of improving management of their own and other team members' motivations and team work-communication styles.


At the centre of the wheel lies a set of competencies called Linking. These competencies, such as active listening, objective setting and delegating, are key to leading and facilitating teams. York Associates' team and leadership development programmes will focus on developing these competencies within an international context to support the establishment of high performing teams.
